Chäserrugg, Toggenburg

The Chäserrugg at 2262 meters is a peak of the seven mountains of the Churfirsten Massif.

The restaurant is a long, flexible space, its atmosphere marked by the woodwork from locally sourced trees. Glazed on three sides, the restaurant offers spectacular views of the paonorama. Niches with benches and tables go along the four sides of the room. Each niche has its own window and thus its own framed view of the mountainscape (project as a collaborator at Herzog & de Meuron, Basel).
